Interview during coundown of the nation's favourite children's books
'Britain's Favourite Children's Books' with David Walliams (broadcast 26 December 2015 on Channel 4) featured the list of the nation's favourites compiled by the Sunday Times. Classic titles such as 'The Tiger who Came to Tea' and 'Alice in Wonderland' featured alongside more modern works such as 'Stormbreaker' (from the Alex Rider series) and 'Rooftoppers'.

Quentin Blake provided some of his distinctive drawings specially for the countdown. He was also interviewed in his London studio by David Walliams, during which they discussed Quentin's illustrations for David's book 'The Boy in the Dress' (in the list at no. 36) and looked at some previously unseen drawings for Roald Dahl's 'The BFG'. Though the book itself wasn't included, Roald Dahl's iconic masterpiece 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' made it in at number 5.
