London's French Institute is celebrating children’s literature in all its glory with the 28th edition of the South Ken Kids Festival, a week of events bursting with activities for the whole family - when the French Institute throws open its doors to all readers, to enjoy children’s and young adults' literature, comic books, graphic novels, films and music. On the programme are storytelling, live drawing, workshops, talks, screenings, concerts and book signings.
Authors and illustrators from both sides of the Channel - including Guillaume Gallienne, Axel Scheffler, Luke Pearson, Bethan Woollvin, Michael Rosen and Lucie Brunellière - will take part in live events, which run from 16-24 March 2026.
