Quentin Blake returns to Galerine Martine Gossieaux with a new exhibition celebrating his recent 'literary travels'.

Larger-scale 'Moonlight Travellers' (2018) are joined by works produced for The Folio Society's edition of selected Fables from Jean de la Fontaine (2013), a literary diary ('Agneda Pleiade') for French publisher, Gallimard (2018) and illustrations for the new edition of  John Ruskin's 1851 work, 'The King of the Golden River' (2019).  As well as other selected works from his London studio, Quentin has offered a set of work from his 2019 series created using the iconic Sennelier oil pastel, 'The Sennelier Portraits'.  This eclectic mix demonstrates effortlessly the scope and power of Quentin's literary interests and artistic techniques.

All works on show are avaialbe to buy from the gallery, which is open Monday-Saturday between 2.30 and 7.00pm.
