Flights of Fancy: the wondrous world of Quentin Blake

PLEASE NOTE: Sadly, due to the closure of all National Trust properties during the COVID-19 outbreak, the exhibition has finished earlier than planned.

Featuring work from some of Quentin's own books (including The Story of the Dancing Frog and The Green Ship) alongside some of his work for a variety of hospital settings, visitors can get a taste of the scope of Quentin Blake's illustrative canon.  The orignal artworks on display are augmented by some early drawings showing his working process, and visitors can see items on loan from his studio which give an insight into his methods.
