Jenny Uglow on 'The Illustrator's Magical Art' in The Guardian

Jenny Uglow, journalist and art lover, has written a full article - published in The Guardian on 15 December - in celebration of Quentin Blake's 80th birthday and his lifetime of achievement as an illustrator, writer and teacher.

In the form of an expanded biography, the article discusses his distinctive style, recognised throughout the world, but also discusses the work he has produced recently for hospitals and public spaces, and for the exhibition at Marlborough Fine Art in London.
