Two more of Russell Hoban's classic picture books were re-published by Walker Books on 3 April.
If you enjoyed 'How Tom Beat Captain Najork and his Hired Sportsmen', look out for the sequel 'A Near Thing for Captain Najork'.  First published in 1975, it has the same quirky humour and timeless appeal as the first volume, perfectly complimented by Quentin's illustrations. 
'The Rain Door' (1986), another title in Russell's inimitable style, is the magical tale of Harry and the rag-and-bone man, who pass through the Rain Door and enter a fantastical world.  Vividly illustrated in full colour by Quentin Blake.
