'Safe Spaces' auction to support the Consortium for Street Children
Friday 26th September 2025
Come and explore powerful works by emerging and established artists, while supporting the Consortium for Street Children’s mission to defend the rights of street children worldwide.
The CSC is a global network of 208 organisations across 111 countries, dedicated to creating sustainable change for street children. By placing children’s rights at the centre of everything, CSC empowers them as agents of change, while using research and advocacy to influence global policy.
Their new project, Safe Spaces, invites visual artists to present original works exploring the powerful themes of security, safety, and belonging — particularly as they relate to the lives of children and young people in street situations.
These reflections also touch on universal issues of mental health, identity, community, and resilience, making the exhibition both deeply personal and globally relevant.
Artists are encouraged to share personal, social, or conceptual interpretations of what it means to feel safe or unsafe, and how this shapes lives, relationships, and environments.
Quentin is one of a host of artists who is contributing to the event. His work 'Tea with Friends' was created specially for the exhibition, hoping that it will help to raise much-needed funds for CSC's projects. He writes: 'I’m delighted to be part of Safe Spaces, a group exhibition with the Consortium for Street Children, exploring what safety, security, and belonging mean in today’s world.'
