D is for Daumier

for Tell Me a Picture at the National Gallery

Quentin Blake's original drawing to introduce the letter 'D', for a work by the French lithographer Honoré Daumier. It was produced for the exhibition catalogue for 'Tell Me a Picture', which was re-issued in 2015 by Frances Lincoln Children’s Books as an A-Z guide to art for young readers.
